Mr. Ducey is a founding member of Conklin Benham. He has tried many workers’ compensation cases as a defense attorney. Mr. Ducey has given numerous lectures and seminars on the subject of workers’ compensation in Michigan. He was elected to the Michigan Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame in 1998. Mr. Ducey co-authored the Michigan Section of Independent Contractor Status: State by State Legal Guide, published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc., with a Conklin Benham colleague in 1993. He was given the Most Respected Advocate Award by the Michigan Trial Lawyers of the State of Michigan. Mr. Ducey was the past President of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He was inducted into the American Bar Association College of Workers’ Compensation Attorneys in 2008. Mr. Ducey is a member of ABA College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. He has been given the highest rating of AV (very high to preeminent) by Martindale Hubbell.
